Heard Shri J. Laskar, learned counsel for the applicants / writ petitioners, who by this application has prayed for impleading the present incumbents holding the post of Principal Secretary, Secondary Education Department and the Director, Secondary Education Department. The learned counsel has drawn the attention of this Court to Annexure-1 of the I.A. which contains the communication dated 26.11.2021 issued to the new incumbents as the respondent nos. 1 and 2, who were the earlier incumbents, are no longer holding the said posts.
In view of the above, this Court is of the opinion that the present I.A. is required to be allowed. Accordingly, the I.A. stands allowed by impleading Shri B. Kalyan Chakravarty, the Principal Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Secondary Education Department, Dispur, Guwahati- 781 006 and Ms. Mamata Hojai, the Director of Secondary Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati – 781 019 as the respondent nos. 3 and 4.
The instant I.A. stands disposed of.
