Heard Mr. P.K Deka learned counsel for the petitioner, who submits that the petitioner is working as an Anganwadi Supervisor in the Office of the Child Development Project Officer, Golakganj ICDS Project, on contractual basis.

The petitioner’s grievance is that the petitioner has not been paid her salary from September, 2017 till December, 2019. The petitioner’s counsel submits that in this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 19.04.2021 to the Director, Social Welfare Department, Assam. However, the same has not been considered till date.

The petitioner’s counsel submits that the present petition can be disposed off, if a direction is issued to the Director, Social Welfare Department, Assam to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 19.04.2021 and take a decision on the same, within a specified time frame.

Mr. J.K Goswami, learned counsel appearing for all the respondents submits that he has got no objection to the prayer made by the petitioner’s counsel.

In view of the consent of the parties, the Director, Social Welfare Department, is directed to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 19.04.2021 and take a decision on the same, within a period of 1 (one) month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, which shall be accompanied by a copy of the writ petition. The decision made should be communicated to the petitioner.
