Heard Shri D Mazumdar, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Shri T Topu, learned counsel for the applicant-petitioner.
The present Interlocutory Application has been filed for extension of the term of the interim order dated 19.02.2021 passed in the connected AB No.60(AP)/2021.
Shri Mazumdar, learned Senior Counsel has drawn the attention of this Court to the order dated 19.02.2021 whereby interim protection was given to the applicant-petitioner on

the ground that he was having health issues and the period was meant for undergoing necessary treatment. The learned Senior Counsel has drawn the attention of this Court to various medical prescriptions and documents to buttress that some more time would be required for his treatment.
I have also heard Ms. T Jini, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, AP.
After considering the facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that the period of 10 days granted by the order dated 19.02.2021 be extended by further period of 3 weeks.
It is made clear that the interim protection granted earlier would continue in this period of 3 weeks.
List this case on 30.03.2021 for consideration of the bail application.
Interlocutory Application stands disposed of.
