Mr. P. Nayak, learned counsel appearing for respondent nos. 1 and 2 submits that the name of the petitioner has been recommended by the SLC in their meeting held on 16.02.2021 for appointment on compassionate ground to Grade III post namely, Soil Conservation Field Worker. The learned counsel also has laid a copy of the letter of the Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam dated 01.03.2021, addressed to the Standing Counsel, Soil Conservation, Assam to show that the recommendation has been sent.
In view of the submission of the learned counsel, the contempt case is closed and the I.A. is disposed of as infructuous.
