Heard Mr. P. Gogoi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. B. Das, learned Senior counsel assisted by Mr. B. Thousen, learned counsel for the respondents APDCL.

During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. B. Das, learned Senior Counsel for the respondents APDCL have placed before the Court that the case of the petitioners have been considered pursuant to the order dated 27.08.2019 passed in WP(C) No. 2643/2019 issued in connection with the advertisement dated 14.08.2018 that was issued by the respondents APDCL and its two sisters concerned. It is stated that on scrutiny the respondents APDCL found genuine payment records of the petitioner No. 1 for 32 days; petitioner No. 2 for 34 days and petitioner No. 4 for 10 days, whereas petitioner Nos. 3 and 5 do not have any genuine payment records. It is also stated that the respondents APDCL have already scrutinized the case of the petitioners with regard to the advertisement dated 14.08.2018 by a duly constituted scrutiny committee constituted in terms of the order dated 27.08.2019 passed in WP(C) No. 2643/2019.

In view of the above, nothing survives to adjudicate in this matter. However, the petitioners may approach the appropriate forum for redressal of their grievances, if any, against such finding of the scrutiny committee, noted above, if so advised.

The respondents APDCL shall furnish a copy of the report placed before the Court today to Mr. P. Gogoi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.

Copy of the report dated 02.01.2020 placed by the learned Standing counsel, APDCL be kept as a part of the record.

Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
