Heard Mr. M.K. Das, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Ms. M. Barman, learned Government Advocate, Assam appearing for the respondent No. 1 and Ms. J. Rongpipi, learned Standing Counsel, APDCL appearing for the opposite party Nos. 2 to 8.

Pursuant to a combined advertisement dated 31.08.2018 issued by the respondents in APDCL and its two sisters concerned, the opposite party Nos. 1 to 5 on being selected (were appointed) to the posts of Assistant Manager (Electrical) in the APDCL. The petitioner has preferred the connected writ petition being WP(C) No.7141/2019, which is presently pending for disposal, challenging the said selection to the post of Assistant Manager (Electrical) in the APDCL and by this application, the applicant/writ petitioner prays for impleadment of those

5(five) opposite parties, who were appointed as Assistant Manager (Electrical) in the APDCL, pursuant to the selection made in terms of the advertisement dated 31.08.2018. Also perused the order dated 30.09.2019 passed in WP(C) No. 7141/2019.

Considering the entire aspect of the matter, the applicant/ writ petition is allowed to implead the opposite party Nos. 1 to 5 as respondent Nos. 9 to 13 in the said WP(C) No. 7141/2019, who are a necessary party for proper adjudication of the said writ petition.

Accordingly, this Interlocutory Application stands allowed.
