This review petition has been preferred against the judgement and order dated 13/12/2017 passed by a Division Bench of this Court in WP(C) 5021/2017, dismissing the writ petition preferred by the petitioner against the opinion rendered by the Foreigners’ Tribunal, declaring him as a foreigner.

Mr. L.R. Mazumdar, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave of this Court to withdraw this review petition with liberty to avail appropriate legal remedy, as may be available to his client.

We have also heard Mr. J. Payeng, learned Standing Counsel, Foreigners Tribunal, who has no objection if the prayer is allowed.

In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of on withdrawal with liberty as prayed for.
