Heard Ms. S. Dasgupta, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Shri M. Bhagabati, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the sole respondent.
The present petition has been filed with a complaint that the direction contained in the order dated 12.12.2018 passed in WP (C) Case No. 4500/2016 has not been complied with by the aforesaid direction. This Court had remanded the matter for appointment on compassionate ground of the petitioner for reconsideration by holding that the application of the petitioner cannot be rejected merely on the ground of delay.

Shri. Bhagabati by referring to the affidavit-in-opposition filed on 06.12.2019 has drawn the attention of this Court to the minutes of the meeting of the SLC held on 02.04.2019 wherein, against in respect of the Darrang District against Sl. No. 4 has submitted that the SLC has recommended the case of the petitioner for appointment in Grade-IV post.
In view of such decision of the SLC whereby the case of the petitioner has not only been reconsidered, but also recommended for appointment, the order passed by this Court has been complied with.
Accordingly, the Cont.Cas (C) stands closed.
