However, Shri S. Bora, learned counsel for the sole respondent submits that the pension amount has been released to the petitioner and in this regard, he has produced before this Court a communication dated 12.03.2019 addressed to him by the Guwahati Municipal Corporation annexing a list of employees to whom such payment has been paid. In the said list, the name of the petitioner figures against Sl. No. 35 and vide RTGS, an amount of Rs.9,31,211/- has been paid to him.
In view of the aforesaid development, the order in question has been complied with and accordingly the present contempt case is closed.
