The petitioners are unrepresented when the case is called. They challenge the termination of service ordered on 14.12.2016 (Annexure-E), by the Director of Health Services (DHS), Assam. When the fake appointments were detected by the Vigilance Cell, the termination of the illegal beneficiaries, was ordered by the DHS.
As the petitioners were also unrepresented on the last date i.e. on 30.11.2017, the petitioners’ want of interest to pursue this matter is discernible. Accordingly, the case is dismissed for non prosecution.
The presence of Mr. D. Upamanyu, the learned standing counsel for the Health Department and Ms. A. Verma, the learned standing counsel for the Finance Department, is noted for the purpose of record.
