The 74 petitioners have served as Female Health Guide Workers, under the authorities of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC). They pray for their arrear honorarium and regularization, as Grade-IV employee.
The learned counsel Mr. B. Islam for the petitioners and the learned standing counsel for the Health Department, Mr. B. Gogoi jointly submit that the present case is squarely covered by the analogous

judgment dated 23.10.2017, in the WP(C) No.900/2013 (The All Assam Health Centres Female Attendants Association vs. State of Assam). Ms. S. Kemprai, the learned counsel represents the KAAC. Under the referred judgment, the petitioners are entitled to receive their arrear honorarium until April, 2012 but their claim for regularization or absorption as Grade-IV employee, cannot be entertained.
As the rival counsels are in agreement with the legal entitlement for the Female Health Guide Workers, subject to verification of their status by the KAAC authorities, the relief of unpaid honorarium until April, 2002, is orderd in their favour, by following the judgment dated 23.10.2017, in the WP(C) No.900/2013. All other prayer, however stand rejected.
With the above order, the case stands disposed of.
