The writ petitioner has filed the I.A.(Civil) No.581/2018 for correction of the typographical error in the Court’s order dated 05.01.2018 in the WP(C) No.194/2017.
The learned counsel Mr. S.K. Barkataki submits that the petitioner belongs to the scheduled caste category and is serving as a Senior Assistant. Accordingly it is submitted that the description of the writ petitioner is incorrect in the Court’s order dated 05.01.2018.
In view of above, after hearing Mr. D. Nath, the learned Addl. Sr. Govt. Advocate, Assam, it is made clear that the petitioner belongs to the scheduled caste category and not OBC category and he

is serving as the Senior Assistant and not as Copyist, under the jurisdiction of the D.C., Kamrup(R). It may be noted that currently the petitioner is serving in the Koya Revenue Circle, under the D.C., Kamrup(R).
With the above order, this rectificatory application stands allowed.
