The learned counsel Mr. S.C. Biswas submits that the petitioner’s appeal against the dismissal order was addressed to the DIG, Assam Police and therefore the concerned officer is required to be impleaded as the respondent, in the WP(C) No.2755/2017.
The above submission of the petitioner’s lawyer is found to be reasonable and accordingly the DIG, Assam Police is added as the 4th respondent in the WP(C) No.2755/2017. Necessary correction of the cause title should accordingly be made.
With the above order, the I.A. stands disposed of.
