Today the matter was fixed for mediation.
Counsel for the applicant submits that after six years, notice under section 13(2) has been withdrawn on technical grounds. He submits why he should bear the burden of those six years interest.
Counsel for the bank submits that the date of NPA is 25.07.2014 and the amount is 12,87,657/- and rate of interest is 10.25% monthly compounded.
After discussion, it was agreed to settle the loan account at the above NPA figure along with 6% simple interest from 25.07.2014 till closure of the account in eight equal monthly installments.
It is made clear that the amount deposited under installments shall be first adjusted towards the principal amount and the interest shall be calculated for the balance amount. It is

also directed that after the payment of complete amount, the original title deeds will be returned to both the owners of the property within 15 days of completing the full payment.
There is one OA no. 144/2025 titled as Bank of Baroda Vs. Rinki Jain connected with this SA. Next date of hearing in that matter is 25.03.2026. the matter is proponed with consent and Registry is directed to list OA no. 144/2025 in today’s supplementary cause list.
In view of the above directions, SA No. 41/2026 and OA no. 144/2025 stands disposed of, all pending IAs also stands disposed off, if any.
