Canara Bank has filed this Chamber Appeal against the order dated 28.10.2025, whereby the Registrar has declined to register this case on the ground that the Bank had not produced the original documents on 17.10.2025.
In the appeal, it is alleged that due to an inadvertent clerical error, the Original Application was initially filed before the Hon'ble DRT-III, Chandigarh, instead of Hon'ble DRT-I, Chandigarh, followed by the non-receipt of intimation regarding the transfer of the Original Application and while awaiting confirmation of the same and thus, the documents could not be produced. I am of the considered view, that the Bank has shown sufficient cause.
Accordingly, the appeal is allowed and disposed of. The Appellant Bank may produce the documents before the Registrar on any working day upto 09.02.2026, who would register the case
A copy of this order be sent to the Registrar and the Bank. File be consigned to the record room after due compliance.
