THE APPELLATE TRIBUNAL :

Heard the Learned Counsel for the parties and perused the record. This application under Section 17(6) of the SARFAESI Act for expeditious disposal of SA No.06 of 2022 pending before the DRT-1 Kolkata. Learned Counsel for the Applicant submits that the matter is pending since 2021. No effective steps are being taken for disposal even after the last date i.e. 11.12.2022. No order is drawn. Rather, website shows that the next date of listing is 05.06.2024.

Having considered the submissions made by the Learned Counsel for the parties and after perusing the record, I am of the view that direction may be issued to the Learned DRT-1 Kolkata to decide the SA No. 06 of 2022 expeditiously in accordance with law.
