counsel appearing for the respondent no.2, hands over a copy of the Status Report dated 16.09.2026, which inter - alia states that a complaint dated 15.08.2026 was lodged by the brother of Mrs. Elma, stating that she had been missing from the house since 14.08.2026. On 28.08.2026, Mrs. Elma was produced by her mother before the Police Station, pursuant to which, her medical examination was conducted and her statement under Section 180 of the BNSS was recorded, wherein she stated that she did not wish to reside with the petitioner as he had tortured her and for this reason she left the house. Her statement under Section 183 of the BNSS was also recorded on 07.09.2026 before the learned JMFC wherein she had reiterated the above. Copy of the Status Report is taken on record.
