We are happy to note that the girl has returned to her house on 16.09.2026, after which she was medically examined at BJRM Hospital, Jahangirpuri. Her statement under Section 183 of BNSS has also been recorded in which she has not reported about any offence. She was later produced before the Child Welfare Committee, which ordered her custody to be given to her parents.

The learned senior counsel for the State has handed over a copy of the Status Report detailing the above. The Status Report is taken on record.

The minor child has also appeared before us in person today. We have interacted with her. She states that she wishes to reside with her parents.

Given the above facts, and as the custody of the minor child is already with the petitioner who is also present in person, the petition is disposed of recording the above.

The next date of hearing, that is, 25.09.2026, stands cancelled.
