The present petition under Section 29A(5) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the Petitioner for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Material on record indicates that an Arbitral Tribunal was constituted by the parties through mutual consent and Hon’ble Justice R. Banumathi, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, was appointed as the Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate on the disputes between the parties on 17.09.2022. The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is coming to an end on 25.11.2025, and
