This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (‘1996 Act’) seeking extension of mandate of the learned Arbitrator.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that mandate of the Arbitrator was extended by this Court by a period of six months from 30.10.2024 vide order dated 16.01.2025 in O.M.P. (MISC.)(COMM.) 23/2025, which has expired on 30.04.2025 and since only the Award remains to be pronounced, the mandate be extended by three months.
