Petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (‘BNSS’) has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner Ram Avatar for quashing of FIR No.0025/2019 under Section 354 IPC, registered at PS: Aman Vihar, Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom in terms of Compromise/MoU dated 17.07.2025.

is finding it difficult to appear before the learned Trial Court on every date and her part statement has already been recorded.

7. As per the FIR, the Petitioner was known to Respondent No.2, with whom she had travelled in his car and has made allegations.

8. It is submitted that on 25.01.2019, on the complaint of Respondent No.2, FIR No.0025/2019 under Section 354 IPC was registered at PS: Aman Vihar, Delhi.

9. The parties are present before this Court in-person today and have been identified by their learned Counsel and concerned Investigating Officer.

10. In view of Compromise/MoU dated 17.07.2025, the present Petition has been filed.

11. The parties have submitted that all the disputes have been amicably settled and thus, no fruitful purpose will be served in continuing with the FIR. The present Petition has been signed by the Petitioners and is supported by their Affidavits. The parties submit that the matter has been settled without any pressure and coercion.

12. Respondent No. 2 states that she has no objection if the FIR in question is quashed.

13. In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served in continuing with the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto.

14. Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the aforesaid FIR

15. Consequently, FIR No.0025/2019 under Section 354 IPC, registered at PS: Aman Vihar, Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

16. The Petition alongwith pending Application, is disposed of accordingly.

17. Considering the entire nature of allegations, both the Petitioner and Respondent No.2 are directed to deposit Rs.5,000/- each as the cost of litigation with Delhi High Court Staff Welfare Fund.

18. In case the cost is not deposited, the matter be placed before the Registrar for recovery of the Cost.
