The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondents to remove the illegal board put in the property bearing no. A1/28, Janakpuri, New Delhi- 110058 .

A Status Report dated 18^th August, 2025 has been filed on behalf of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (“MCD”), wherein, it is stated that there were two boards existing in the property in question.

It is submitted that one board, which was unauthorized, has already been removed and with respect to second board, permission has already

At this stage, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that though the board has been removed, however, the scaffolding which was constructed to put the said board, still exists.

Accordingly, the MCD is directed to ensure that the scaffolding,

which exists in the building in question, shall be removed forthwith. 7. The MCD is also further bound to ensure that only the board, which is in accordance with the permission granted by the MCD, shall be allowed to be displayed at the premises in question.

In case, any board/advertisement is displayed without requisite permission from the MCD, requisite action shall be taken by the MCD, in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
