By way of the present application filed under section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure 1908, the applicant/petitioner seeks extension of time till 31.05.2025 to vacate the tenanted premises i.e. shop bearing No. 3601, Chawri Bazar, Delhi on the conditions as stipulated in order dated 19.09.2024 passed in the present proceedings.

As per para 9 of order dated 19.09.2024, the petitioner was directed to vacate the tenanted premises on or before 31.03.2025.

For the reasons stated in the application and on humanitarian considerations since the petitioner is about 76 years of age, it is directed that the petitioner shall vacate the tenanted premises on or before 30.04.2025, with all other conditions stipulated in order dated 19.09.2024 remaining as-is.

Furthermore, upon being queried, Mr. Raj Kumar Kanodia, the proprietor of the petitioner is present in court and undertakes to clear all the arrears towards electricity, water and other utility charges at the time he surrenders possession on or before 30.04.2025.

The petitioner shall approach the respondent through counsel and hand-over the keys to the tenanted premises in the chambers of learned counsel for the respondent on or before 30.04.2025.

The application stands disposed-of in the above terms.
