The petitioner challenges the judgment dated 05.11.2018 thereby dismissing the complaint filed by the petitioner under Section of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (NI Act).

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issuance of the subject cheques is not denied by the respondent. He submits that the cheques were handed over pursuant to the dissolution of the partnership between the petitioner and the respondent.
