removal of the hawkers from the “no-hawking zone” have been taken on several occasions. It is also pointed out that Supreme Court by order dated 05.05.2006 in W.P.(C) No.1699/1987 has directed the police authorities to ensure that whenever the hawkers are removed from the no-hawking zones, the areas are not re-occupied by the vendors again.
