Vide order dated 14.12.2018, the Hon’ble Court has inter alia directed as

under:-

“27. In the facts of this case, the interest shall run for the entire period @ 9% instead of the rate of interest awarded by thelearned ADJ. On 13^th February, 2017, this Court had stayed the impugned judgment/decree subject to the DDA depositing in this Court and is lying in a fixed deposit. It is accordingly directed that the worthy Registrar General may release the sum of Rs.5,98,986/- along with interest @ 9% per annum w.e.f. 22^nd July, 2005 till date. Any excess amount shall be refunded to the DDA. The demand draft be prepared within four weeks and be handed over to the Respondent through counsel in the presence of the Respondent’s authorised signatories.
