The petitioners are seeking quashing of the present FIR No.0463/2017 registered under Sections 323/354-B/509/34 of the IPC at Police Station Fatehpur Beri on the complaint of respondent No. 2. Respondent No. 2 is present in Court. Her presence has been identified by the Investigating Officer. It is stated that the parties have now settled their disputes and a memorandum of mutual settlement has been arrived at on 01.02.2018 signed by the respective parties. The complainant who is present in person has also been queried. It is state that a minor issue which had cropped up between the sewadars of the ashram (petitioners party) and the complainant, the unfortunate incident had occurred which is purely based on misunderstanding by

the complainant. The fact that the complainant is a devotee in the aforenoted ashram of revered Guruji is being admitted. It is stated that no difference remain between the parties as the complainant is a regular devotee and visits the temple on an almost every day basis. It is accordingly prayed that to further maintain peace and cordiality inter-se all the parties, it would be appropriate if the present proceedings are quashed.

Noting, this settlement arrived at inter-se the parties which is purely voluntary as is borne out from the queries put to the complainant, it is a fit case to secure the ends of justice, it would be expedient that present proceedings be quashed. Accordingly, FIR No.0463/2017 registered under Sections 323/354-B/509/34 of the IPC at Police Station Fatehpur Beri and all proceedings emanating thereto be quashed.
