The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:-

“In light of the above facts and circumstances, it is most humbly prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be graciously pleased to:

1. issue a writ of mandamus directing the Respondent to supply certified copy of documents on the basis of which change of name has been effected in the following electricity connections that were installed in property no. 6/56, Punjabi Bagh West, New Delhi-110026:-

i. CNR No. 2640001893 that was in the name of M/s Prakash Tubes Ltd. and,

¶17

ii. CNR No. 2640001978 that was in the name of Balraj Bhussry.

2. pass any such further orders as this Hon’ble Court may

deem fit in the interest of justice.”

Mr. Vidyarthi states, no counter affidavit is required to be filed to the petition. Noting the submission made and the prayer in the petition, is only for supply of the certified copy of the documents, on the basis of which change of name has been effected in the electricity connections that were installed at property No. 6/56, Punjabi Bagh West, New Delhi, I deem it appropriate to direct the respondent to supply the certified copy of the same, within a period of four weeks.

Today, during the course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner has also drawn my attention to two communications dated June 05, 2018 of the petitioner wherein the petitioner had sought for the certified copy of the applications for installation of electricity connections bearing CNR Nos. 2640001893 and 2640001978 along with the documents filed along with the said applications.

Mr. Vidyarthi states that the certified copy of the same shall be provided to the petitioner, if available. The said statement is taken on record.

In view of the above statement, learned counsel for the petitioner states, the same shall satisfy the petitioner and the petition be disposed of, as such. Ordered accordingly.
