The petitioner, who appears in person, submits that directions may be issued to the Principal Bench, Central Administrative Tribunal to decide and dispose of the Original Application filed by him [O.A. No.2662/2017] within one month.

Mr. Ravi Kumar, the petitioner submits that he had filed the captioned O.A. on 31.07.2017. On 09.08.2017, notices were issued in the said O.A. and learned counsel for the respondent No.1 and 2, who was present in the court, had accepted notice. Thereafter, the matter was taken up on several dates before the Tribunal i.e. on 27.10.2017, 18.12.2017, 02.01.2018 and 17.01.2018. On 17.01.2018, the said O.A. has been adjourned to 27.03.2018, along with the pending miscellaneous applications filed by the petitioner.

The grievance of the petitioner is that that there is a grave urgency in the matter, but the same has not been taken up for arguments. W.P.(C) 1548/2018 Page 1 of 2

We may note from the order sheets that on 18.12.2017, a request for an adjournment was made by the petitioner. On 02.01.2018, an application filed by the petitioner for advancing the date of hearing in the O.A. was rejected and the date already fixed i.e. 17.01.2018, was maintained; on 17.01.2018, the Tribunal had adjourned the case to 27.03.2018, by noting that pleadings in the main O.A. were complete.

Having regard to the fact that the matter is listed before the Tribunal in the very next month, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of the present petition with a request made to the Tribunal to make an endeavour to hear arguments on the date fixed and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law.

The present petition is disposed of, along with the pending application.
