Ld. Counsel for respondent-DMRC has handed over a copy of the communication dated 12.6.2017 to the petitioner. In view thereof, the petitioner appearing in person seeks to withdraw the petition. He however, submits that the illegal encroachments over the Circular Road, Nazafgarh are still continuing and DMRC has chosen to have recourse to an underground passage. It is a contempt petition and in view of the statement made, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
