Learned counsel for petitioner has contended that petitioner is married sister-in-law of the deceased and had been living in Ambala along with her husband and two minor children. Petitioner had come to Delhi to meet her sister Sandeep Kaur at Baljeet Nagar at the relevant time. Ms. Sandeep Kaur has already been granted bail. Petitioner is in custody since 21st November, 2015. Petitioner has been falsely implicated by the father of deceased.
Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that petitioner has been named in the FIR. Father of deceased has stated that he received a telephone call from the deceased at about 6:30 pm, on the day of her death, and during the conversation deceased informed him that she was beaten by her husband,
sisters-in-law and mother-in-law.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the CDR, deceased was travelling in the metro train at about 6.30 p.m. and was not in the matrimonial home.
Keeping in mind the above facts; more particularly that the petitioner is a married sister-in-law, having a family comprising of her husband and children and had been living in Ambala and further that she is in custody for more than one year, she is admitted to bail, subject to her furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of trial court.
Bail application is disposed of in the above terms.
