At the outset, counsel for the petitioner submits that this Petition may be disposed of reserving liberty in favour of the petitioner to file a representation raising all his grievances before the High Power Pension Redressal Committee and the said committee, in turn, shall decide the said representation by passing a speaking order, in an expeditious manner, after affording fair opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as to the concerned Department.

Counsel for the other side would not oppose the aforesaid prayer.

Having considered the submissions of counsel for the parties and the limited prayer sought by the petitioner, it is directed that if the petitioner files a representation in this regard before the High Power Pension Redressal Committee within 60 days of this order, the said Committee shall examine the issue and decide the same by passing a speaking reasoned order in an expeditious manner preferably within an outer limit of 6 months from the date of filing of said representation, after affording fair opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and to the concerned Department.

It is observed that if any grievance in this regard still remains, the petitioner would be at liberty to file a petition as and when occasion so arises.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
