The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following relief(s):-

“10.1. The Honble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records pertaining to the case of petitioner for its kind perusal.

10.2. The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct immediate action on payment of Rs. 88,378 as an arrears of 6th pay commission vide order dated 05.01.2017 (Annexure P-1) issued by the respondent, to the extent it relates to the petitioner in the interest of justice.

10.3 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief, as if may deem fit and appropriate.

1. Ms. Shraddha Mishra, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is serving as an Assistant Revenue Inspector under respondent No. 2. She contends that the State Government extended the benefit of the 6th Pay Commission to its employees, and the same benefit was granted to the petitioner vide order dated 05.01.2017 (Annexure-P/1), entitling him to an amount of ₹88,378/- from the said date, but till date the said amount has not been paid to the petitioner.

1. On the other hand, Mr. Pramod Shrivastava, learned Deputy Government Advocate, opposes the submissions made by Ms. Mishra.

1. Considering the fact that respondent No.2 issued a memo for the payment of arrears under the 6th Pay Commission, but the amount appears to remain unpaid, at this juncture, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to release the amount of ₹88,378/- from 05.01.2017, along with interest at the rate of 12% per annum till its realization, if already not paid.

1. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of 30 days.

1. With the aforesaid observation(s) and direction(s), this petition is hereby disposed of .
