Mr. Vivek Ranjan Tiwari, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners, would submit that with respect to petitioner No.2 respondent No.6 – her brother has lodged missing report in Police Station Seepat and one another police station, whereas petitioner No.2 has married petitioner No.1, both being majors, in Arya Samaj Mandir on 25-2-2023, as such the missing report deserves to be closed, whereas, petitioner No.2 is being repeatedly called by Police Station Seepat and another police station. Mr. Tiwari, learned Senior Counsel, would further submit petitioner No.2 is ready to visit police station, but once she reaches the police station, there is every likelihood that she and her husband i.e. both the petitioners herein will be frightened by her brother and other family members, therefore, she may be allowed to file affidavit to the concerned police station through video conferencing.

Mr. Ashish Tiwari, learned Government Advocate appearing for the State / respondents No.1 to 5, on advance copy, on instructions, would submit that the jurisdictional police only wanted to record the statement of petitioner No.2 and there is no such other action to taken.

In that view of the matter, petitioner No.2 shall file affidavit duly identified by her counsel stating therein that she is major and has contacted marriage with petitioner No.1 on her own will within seven days from today and if required, respondents No.3 & 5 may record the statement of petitioner No.2 through video conferencing and details of video conferencing will be provided by petitioner No.2. The Superintendent of Police, Korba / Bilaspur will do well to
