inter-alia alleging that He and Yashwant Chandra are Agriculturist and had sold their paddy in Krushi Upaj Mandi, Dabhra. When the cheque against the purchase of paddy was not given to them till 03.01.2002, complainant Sadanand Patel approached accused Santram (R-2) who told him that commission at the rate of Rs 25 per bag was demanded as a bribe by accused G.P. Suryavanshi (R-1). Pursuant to his report 16.12.2002, a small tape-recorder given to the complainant to record all conversation regarding demand of bribe by accused/respondents herein. On 03.01.2002, complainant recorded all the conversation of accused/respondents regarding demand of bribe. Transcription of conversation was prepared. After completing necessary formalities, trap team was constituted. Complainant was sent to Krushi Upaj Mandi, Dabhra, with bribe money on which phenolphthalein powder was applied. After giving bribe money to accused/respondents, the complainant gestured the trap party, who came to the spot and caught the accused/respondents red handed and trap proceeding was carried out. Hands of the accused/respondents were dipped into a solution of sodium carbonate on which the colour of the solution turned into pink. Accordingly, seizure memo was prepared. Map was prepared by Patwari vide Ex.P/1-C. Accused/respondents were arrested vide arrest memo (Ex.P/32 & 33) and FIR was registered against the accused/respondents vide Ex.P/6.
