In compliance of the order dated 1.8.2017 Ms Priyanka Shukla, Collector, Jashpur is present in person.

Mr.Shashank Thakur submits that compensation has been paid to the petitioners except petitioner No.4 whose separate petition is pending consideration before this Court and they have accepted the compensation and they have right to seek enhancement under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act.

Mr.Awardh Tripathi submits that issue of rehabilitation has not been considered and granted by the respondents.

¶46

The petitioners are at liberty to make a representation before the authority concerned claiming rehabilitation. If such a representation is made, the authority concerned will consider and decide the representation, if any, expeditiously.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed off. No order as to cost(s).
