. By this Application, the Appellants are seeking condonation of 60 days delay in filing the present Appeal against the Judgment and Award dated 28/8/2023 passed by the 2^nd Joint Civil Judge Senior Division, Amravati in LAC No.297/2007.

The Appellants have satisfactorily explained the delay in filing the present Appeal. The learned Counsel appearing for Respondent No.1 has strongly opposed the Application by contending that the reasons, as mentioned in the Application, are not sufficient to condone the delay in the matter.

Application and the fact that Appellants have already deposited the compensation amount before the Reference Court, delay of 60 days caused in filing the present Appeal is hereby condoned.

CIVIL APPLICATION (CAF) NO. 3818 OF 2024

. This Court, vide order dated 22/1/2025 granted stay to the effect, operation and execution of the Judgment and Award dated 28/8/2023 subject to depositing the entire amount of compensation within 12 weeks. In compliance with the said order, Appellants have placed on record the pursis dated 30.4.2026 informing thereby that entire amount has been deposited by the Appellants before the Reference Court.

In view thereof, there shall be stay to the effect, operation and execution of the impugned Judgment and Award dated 28/8/2023 passed by the 2^nd Joint Civil Judge Senior Division, Amravati in LAC No. 297/2007 till final disposal of the present Appeal.
