The learned counsel Mr. Gaikwad representing the respondent no.2 has placed before us a list of the colleges that are still available for the petitioner to be admitted in Chemical Engineering course, but the learned counsel for the petitioner have instructions to make a statement that she is not interested to join any of these colleges and instead, insists upon her admission in Respondent No.3-MIT Academy of Engineering, Alandi, Pune.

On 17.8.2024, she received an acknowledgement confirmation of her admission and her admission came to be cancelled on 10.9.2024 on account of non submission of validity certificate.

It is the specific contention of the petitioner that the Scheduled Tribe Committee decided her claim as belonging to ‘Mana’ Scheduled Tribe and by order dated 10.9.2024, rejected the claim.

However, since the petitioner is keen on getting the matter heard and pray for restoration of the seat, which according to us is difficult, but we deem it appropriate to list the petition for hearing on 8.10.2023 at 2.30 PM and expect Mr. Rao, learned Assistant Government Pleader to keep the record and proceedings for perusal.
