Prima facie, I am satisfied that the action of respondent-Tahsildar is in contravention to the judgment of this Court dated 30th March 2022 delivered in Writ Petition No.138/2022 (Milind Chandrabhan Telgote and one vs. The State of Maharashtra and others).

In response to the Court's query, it is informed that the said judgment was duly circulated to the Revenue Officers.

That being so, I direct that the vehicle of the petitioner be released forthwith having regard to the contents which were transported were found to be a finished product, as reflected in the impugned notice.

It is hereby directed to the respondent-Tahsildar to file his affidavit explaining his conduct as prima facie the

conduct of the respondent-Tahsildar appears to be in this regard to the aforesaid judgment of this Court.

The Court will consider, whether the costs can be saddled on the respondent Tahsildar for acting contrary to the judgment of this Court.
