Worli Sea Link is a bridge assisting and aiding the smooth movement of traffic between the City and the Western Suburbs and particularly leading to the highway (Mumbai-Ahmedabad). Since the traffic movement is heavy and this Link leads to the domestic and the international airports, there is possibility of accidents and the casualties in such accidents could be huge on occasions, particularly when the speed limits are violated brazenly. In the circumstances, on both ends of the BandraWorli Sea Link there should be provision for emergent medical aid and even a trauma centre. Let that possibility be explored, and with the assistance of non-governmental organisations or agencies like the Rotary Club and Lions International such provision be made. Mr. Patil has agreed to consider these suggestions.
