By order dated 18.11.2019, simple notice was issued to respondent Nos. 2 and 3. In response to the notice, instructions are provided to the learned Assistant Government Pleader and on instructions received from respondent Nos. 2 and 3, the learned Assistant Government Pleader makes a statement before this Court that as per the directions of this Court, the caste claim of the petitioner is

2 15-CP-757-2019 decided on 28.11.2019 and the same is

rejected/invalidated. The petitioner had fled writ petition challenging the order of the Scrutiny Committee.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader on instructions also submitted an unconditional apology to this Court on behalf of respondent Nos. 2 and 3 for some delay in decision with an explanation that the delay caused due to the procedural formalities and the large number of pending claims before the Scrutiny Committee. The apology is accepted in view of the fact that the claim of the petitioner is already decided and the decision is subject matter of the independent proceeding in the form of the writ petition before this Court. Nothing survives in the present contempt petition. The contempt petition is accordingly disposed of.
