2 The petitioner preferred an application for parole on 10.8.2016. The said application came to be rejected by order dated 16.11.2016. Being aggrieved thereby, the petitioner preferred an appeal on 2.12.2016. The grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is that though he preferred an appeal on 2.12.2016, the appeal has not yet been decided. In this view of the matter, the only direction that can be passed is that the concerned authority to decide the appeal within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. Order accordingly.
3 Rule is made absolute in above terms. Petition is disposed of accordingly.
