ORAL ORDER [PER SMT. V.K. TAHILRAMANI, J.] :
18.7.2013. The grievance of the petitioner is that Police
Report was called but it was not received, hence, his application for furlough could not be decided.

of furlough in the State of U.P., hence, the Police Report was called from the Superintendent of Police, Gorakhpur in the State of U.P. No report was received, hence, from time to time reminders were sent to the Superintendent of Police, Gorakhpur. In all six reminders were sent, however, no report was received. In the meanwhile, on 9.3.2015, the
applicant preferred an application to D.I.G. (Prisons) stating that his application be closed. In effect his prayer is that his application be filed as he does not wish to pursue the same. The said application came to be allowed on 29.4.2015. In this view of the matter, this petition has become infructuous, hence, rule is discharged.
