1 PIL37.13
IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY NAGPUR BENCH AT NAGPUR
PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION NO.37 OF 2013.
(SANTOSH TUKARAM DHOKE..VS..STATE OF MAH. DEPT OF SOCIAL WELFARE & OTH.)
CORAM : SMT. VASANTI A. NAIK AND P.R.BORA, JJ.
DATED : OCTOBER 01, 2014.
Mr. Zinjarde, the learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and the petitioner is not, therefore, desirous of prosecuting the litigation.
We find that by the prayers made in the writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction for the benefit of his son. We do not find that the litigation is in public interest. However, since the petitioner is not desirous of further prosecuting the litigation as the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed, we dispose of the Public Interest Litigation with no order as to costs.
