(1) By this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner prays for issuance of a writ directing the respondents to register an offence, in accordance with law and to take further steps, as prescribed by law. The other reliefs are regarding the interim relief as well as the ad-interim relief.
(2) Learned APP states on instructions from the Vaibhavadi Police Station that pursuant to the recording of the statement of the petitioner, an offence has been registered. We accept the aforesaid statement as an undertaking to this Court. In the light of the said statement, the relief which the petitioner has prayed for in this petition is rendered infructuous. Petition is dismissed accepting the statement of the learned APP that an offence has been registered on the basis of the report/statement of the petitioner. No order as to costs.
