The Petitioner is a project affected person. It is his contention that he is entitled to get an alternate land, in view of the provisions of the Maharashtra Resettlement of Project Displaced Persons Act, 1976. It is submitted that accordingly a proposal was given by the Petitioner for an alternate land. However, the said proposal has not yet been decided. It is submitted that a direction may be given to Respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to forthwith decide the said proposal.

this stage, petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing Respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to decide the proposal dated 3.11.2012 in respect of land Gat No. 18/2 admeasuring 29 Ares, Gat No. 223/2 admeasuring 31 Ares and Gat No. 56/1 admeasuring 82 Ares at village Pimpale Jagtap, Taluka Shirur, District Pune, given by the Petitioner for an alternate land, as expeditiously as possible, in any case within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of this order. The Petitioner shall produce all the relevant documents, as required under the law, including his proof of identity.
