By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for direction to the Election Commissioner to modify the schedule of election. The election is to be held on 07/02/2012.

In our view, this issue is not justiciable in which we can give any direction modifying the election programme. It is for the Election Commissioner to consider this aspect. If the petitioner made any representation, it is for the Election Commissioner to consider it, as deemed fit, as this court cannot give direction in this behalf.

Subject to what is stated above, the writ petition is disposed of.
