This contempt petition alleges the
disobedience of the order passed by the Division

Bench of this Court. The Division Bench directed
that, the authority to grant caste certificate on
the basis of prima facie assessment of the
material placed before the Committee. The learned
Counsel appearing for the respondent-Committee
makes a statement that, the caste claim of the
petitioner is invalidated by the Committee on 28th
June, 2012. Therefore, in substance, there is
compliance of the direction given by the Division
Bench of this Court.
2.In the light of above, nothing further
survives in this contempt petition. The contempt
petition stands disposed of.
