In this petition through Jail, the petitioner has prayed for furlough leave. Learned APP informs the court that the petitioner applied for furlough leave by his application dated 15.1.2010. On receipt of his application, the Jail authorities have called for a police report and they have received the same. She further submits that they will pass order on his application within a period of four weeks from today. Her statement is

accepted. In view thereof, nothing further survives in this petition. We expect the concerned authority to pass an order on the application of the petitioner for furlough leave within a period of four weeks from today and shall communicate the same to the petitioner immediately thereafter. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
