The grievance made by the petitioner/convict, who is undergoing sentence for imprisonment for life at Open District Prison, Morshi, District Amravati, is that sugar and jaggary are not provided in the Canteen. Reply filed on behalf respondents discloses that in terms of circular issued by Inspector General of Prison, the said commodities cannot be made available at the canteen.
In view of this, we do not propose to entertain the writ petition. The petition is accordingly dismissed.
